Maria is torn between the man she thought would make a perfect husband and the one who makes her heart tick. Luzuko Bhengu seems to tick all the boxes of a husband she has prayed for but the mutual attraction between her and Njabulo Buthelezi is undisputable. It gets complicated when more than two hearts are involved. Njabulo believes nothing about love and red roses but when he finally engages with a good-hearted woman–who has always been in front of his eyes–all these non-beliefs fly out of the window. He falls hard in love and leaves his partner to pursue the woman who captured his heart. When Luzuko unearths an affair between Maria and Njabulo, he brews a deadly battle to destroy it and his psychotic behavior puts people in danger.
